Autodesk Revit is a Building Information Modelling (BIM) software designed to create 3D models and 2D drawings that include all the technical information for designing and constructing buildings and infrastructure.

In the Autodesk Revit Introduction capsule, you will learn how to use this tool, which is widely used in architecture and engineering projects. Throughout the program you will discover the potential of Revit versus CAD, exploring both its applicability in construction projects and collaborative design.

  • Introduction to the BIM concept and its differences.
  • Importance of BIM and examples of practical applications.
  • Initial configuration of a project.
  • Adaptation of the interface and configuration of basic parameters.
  • Creation of basic architectural elements: walls and slabs.
  • Introduction to the placement of doors and windows.
  • Layout of plans and organization of information.
  • Introduction to the reading and interpretation of parameters.

Methodology

  • Synchronous training.
  • There are 2 videoconferences per week, each lasting 2 hours.
  • In total, there will be 4 live sessions with a total duration of 8 hours of tutored training.
  • All videoconferences are recorded in case you are unable to attend.
  • All the material is at your disposal until 3 months after the end of the programme.
  • The license of the programs used during the course is not included.
