Methodology
How do you learn at SHIFTA?
SHIFTA’s methodology is based on two fundamental axes: creation and digital, which always revolve around the students.
With a pedagogical model supported by more than 50 years of experience at Elisava and consisting of project-based learning (Learning by Doing), you will experience and develop skills such as innovation, leadership and entrepreneurship in real contexts.
In addition, the 100% online format is ideal for combining the training with other professional and personal responsibilities, as it offers the possibility of accessing the Virtual Campus from wherever and whenever you want to consult all the materials available and the activities proposed by the teaching staff.
SHIFTA’s teaching staff, made up of more than 150 active professionals with extensive experience in the subjects they teach, will accompany and guide you throughout the learning process so that you can get the most out of your training.
The SHIFTA method
Every week, life sessions are held with the teacher and the rest of the students to encourage interaction and the construction of joint knowledge. These videoconferences usually take place between 7pm and 10pm CET in order to adapt to the greatest number of time zones.
On a regular basis, meetings are held between the teacher and the students to review the evolution of the learning process, as well as to obtain feedback on it and to continue progressing.
Projects based on real cases are regularly proposed in order to put into practice all the knowledge acquired and to enrich the professional portfolio.
The training materials include real examples of projects carried out by different institutions and companies to show the practical application of the theoretical contents and facilitate the acquisition and assimilation of knowledge.
Occasionally, oral presentations are proposed to share the projects carried out with the rest of the classmates and to show different ways of solving the same briefing from a different point of view.
On the Virtual Campus, spaces are provided for students and teachers to exchange knowledge, points of view and concerns about training-related topics, therefore encouraging active participation and a critical and constructive spirit.
