Inclusive design intends to adapt all kinds of scenarios taking into consideration the needs of minority population groups, valuing the reasons of gender, age, intellectual capacity, disability, culture, traditions, etc. in the design of experiences, services or products, so that a beneficial experience can be created for all profiles, offering solutions based on their particular characteristics and limitations.
Decisions made in a design process contribute to providing greater inclusion or exclusion of people in aspects such as age, disability, gender and culture. This is why, before knowing how to address these issues (or others, such as geographic, financial or social factors), it is necessary to know how we understand diversity in a current and future context.
