Presentation

In this introductory Figma capsule you will learn how to use this powerful digital interface design platform from zero to intermediate level. Figma is a free online design tool, which is fast becoming the industry standard thanks to its efficiency in terms of collaboration and accessibility.

Throughout the course, you will learn how to work with vectors within different frames, handle typography, color palettes and dynamic grids to co-create software that really suits the users’ needs.

You will also learn how to create simple prototypes to bring your ideas to life, and how to collaborate more effectively with other designers. You will discover best practices and tools for designing and sharing projects efficiently, saving you time and effort on your design projects.

Introduction to the interface: what are frames, how to use grids to structure content and how to insert text objects.
Vector creation and editing: properties (colors, effects) and creation of a simple Auto-Layout form.
Simple prototyping on the form we started and consulting Community as a source of inspiration, new resources and learning.

Methodology

Synchronous training.
One 2-hour videoconference per week is held.
In total, there will be 2 live sessions with a total duration of 4 hours of tutored training.
All videoconferences are recorded in case you are unable to attend.
All the class material is at your disposal until 3 months after the end of the program.
The license of the programs used during the course is not included.
