We live surrounded by screens, and in this fast-paced world of visual communication, Motion Graphics is the most powerful way to give form to the entire flow of information we want to convey.

Motion graphics are the key to creating attractive and impactful content. To achieve this, we need professionals capable of producing content with quality and creativity.

In SHIFTA’s Master in Motion Graphics, you will acquire the fundamental knowledge needed to undertake, direct, and produce innovative and relevant audiovisual projects.

Our master’s degree will teach you to navigate the creative process of motion graphics from various roles, including creative direction, art direction, audiovisual language, animation, and project management.

This will equip you to become a well-rounded and versatile professional capable of successfully tackling any project.

The objectives of the Online Master in Motion Graphics are the following:

“LOADING…DESPIDO” is a project created by our student Judit Tarragó in which she criticizes the current labor system and the lack of reconciliation with personal life. The project takes a final turn, since the person in charge of firing the employee in this case is an artificial intelligence, which does not require breaks to eat or rest, among other things.

In the “Get a Bicylcle” project we can see the entire process of a two-person bicycle trip. First, we see the planning: the route and the list of material necessary to carry it out. Once everything is ready, we see two people riding a bicycle moving away from the stress of the city towards the tranquility that natural environments transmit.

This motion graphics project, awarded with a silver at the Laus Awards in 2023, narrates, in the form of a recipe, the working methodology and brand values of this Barcelona-based design studio that strongly advocates for diversity and originality.

Methodology

  • Our methodology is 100% online, providing the flexibility to combine training with the rest of your professional and personal responsibilities.
  • Methodological model supported by the rigor of Elisava and the University of Vic - Central de Catalunya.
  • Methodology based on Learning by Doing with the realization of real projects.
  • Flexible model that combines synchronous and asynchronous training.
  • Weekly live videoconferences with teachers between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. (CET).
  • Recording of live sessions to view them later.
  • Personalized monitoring and tutoring by a specialized team.

Admission process

The entry requirements for the online Master in Motion Graphics are as follows:

  • A university degree in a creative discipline is preferred, although other relevant degrees are also acceptable.
  • If you do not possess a university degree, you may be considered based on accredited professional experience.
  • A good level of English reading proficiency is recommended.
  • Access to a computer and a reliable internet connection is necessary.
  • Being an efficient, organized, and self-directed learner is important.
  • When you take the Master's you will have access for one year to the Adobe© Creative Suite.
  • As a benefit, by enrolling in the master's degree, you will become part of the Elisava Bold alumni community during the academic year in which you are studying the SHIFTA master's degree.

Methods of payment and financing

From SHIFTA, we offer you the following forms of financing so that the economic aspect is not an impediment.

Single payment
If you pay for the master’s degree in cash, you will receive a 5% discount on the final price.

Own financing
We offer you the possibility of financing the master’s or postgraduate course in up to 10 monthly installments at no financial cost (0% TAE).

External financing
If you want a larger number of installments, we have an agreement with Nemuru, the external financing platform, which allows you to extend the installments up to 18 months. (Option subject to the approval of the financial institution itself after studying the relevant documentation). You will be able to access them once your admission to the program has been notified.

Bonus for companies
You can finance your training thanks to the bonuses offered by the State Foundation for Employment Training (FUNDAE) and the Tripartite Foundation to companies to train their workers. In this case, we have the support of an external consultancy specialized in this process.
